GlaxoSmithKline says US FDA approves allergy drug Veramyst

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - GlaxoSmithKline PLC said it has received approval from the US FDA for its allergy treatment drug Veramyst nasal spray.
In the clinical trials, the company said Veramyst was effective for relieving overall nasal allergy symptoms, and demonstrated consistent and significant improvement in relieving overall allergic eye symptoms.
